I'm going to "pondle" you!

Wyatt has always been a very verbal child...talked early, speaks in complete sentences, knows what he wants and doesn't want, etc. Lately we are noticing an entirely new vocabulary emerging at various times. Usually the words sound alike to a certain degree and are sort of randomly used. It's hard to explain, but funny to witness. Today he was trying to climb over his sister and he announced, "Brad, I'm going to pondle you." Then he got a running start and told me he was going to "condle the sofa." That translated into jumping on it head first. Last night during dinner, he looked at his food and said, "I'm going to eat this ponnel." So you see, "ponnel" and "pondle"...similar terms, but one is a noun and the other appears to be an action verb. It's funny! Always something new and exciting around these parts.
