After more than 8 years in the same house...the same house that Chris and I bought just before we got married...the same house where we brought home Wyatt from the house...the same house where we celebrated his first, second and third birthdays, the same house where we brought home Bradford from the hospital...the same house where we made so many wonderful memories with family and friends...it was time to move. We wanted a backyard where the kids could run around barefoot and not worry about stepping on sweet gum balls, rocks and pine cones...we wanted a safe street with sidewalks and streetlights...we wanted a great school system that was top notch in the city...we wanted/needed more room and storage space...and we found all of this and more. After 3 months in the new house, we still have a lot of things on our to-do list, but we sure have enjoyed our new house and neighborhood. There are plenty of children Wyatt and Bradford's age around here that we can play with so that has been really nice. Wyatt loves to just open the back door and run out and play in the yard. We have two spots in the garage so Chris' car can stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter (seriously one of the best features of the house according to him!). But all in all, we want this to be a house that feels like a home...a house that is welcoming to family and friends...a house where we will all grow and love together and make even more memories as our children get older. So far we have been very happy.
